London Calling, an oh-so very British winter by Longchamp

After a delightful country break in the Cotswolds, our Parisienne is heading back to London. She returns to a city shaped by creative exuberance and elegant heritage, and where different styles clash with panache. Here, classic sophistication flirts with boldness, and elegance is accented with a touch of eccentricity.

CURIOSITY AND WANDERLUST

As soon as she arrives, she is hit by the raw energy of the British capital. The outfits she sees on the station platform captivate her — vinyl jackets, flannel suits, animal prints, tartans... everything inspires her. Making instinctive style combinations, she embraces the punk attitude and revisits Savile Row tailoring. Rock red, jet black, leopard print accents, her look embraces a new-found freedom as if responding to the city’s energy. London is a playground, a style laboratory where she is free to combine textured faux fur, patent leather, and statement boots. Longchamp's artistic director Sophie Delafontaine sums up this creative momentum, “The Maison is defined by curiosity and wanderlust. London is a city that I personally will never tire of. You just have to step into the street to be inspired to change your look, and try bold new style combinations. "

BETWEEN NOTTING HILL AND CAMDEN

Between Notting Hill and Camden, her look is suffused with joyful confidence. In the evening, she enjoys mixing things up: a cropped kimono worn as a dinner jacket, a leather miniskirt, and an oversized trench coat. Her Le Roseau bag in grained black leather, lined with leopard print or faux Shetland fur, adds a bold twist to her every outfit. The Le Roseau tote bag in fiery red completely energises her look. The Le Pliage Xtra hobo bag accompanies her on light-hearted getaways with such style and ease.

Before returning to her Paris studio, she makes one last visit. Her reversible wool duffel coat, created in collaboration between Longchamp and Gloverall, keeps her warm so elegantly. The striped lining and bamboo clasps of the iconic Le Roseau bag — every detail pays tribute to shared savoir-faire. On her arm, the Le Roseau wool tote bag completes her look with a very British elegance.

She savours her last moments before boarding the train to Paris, her mind racing and her style revitalised. She leaves with a little piece of London quirkiness stashed in her luggage.
