Longchamp’s Year of the Horse

For Chinese New Year in 2026, the Year of the Horse, Longchamp is celebrating its founding emblem with a campaign animated by freshness, colour and renewal. It’s a highly symbolic year for the Maison, whose galloping horse has always embodied its creative momentum and vital energy. Dressed in red, a lucky colour for Lunar New Year, the capsule collection illuminates this special edition.

Riding the Spring Breeze, Vibrance and Poetry

Imagined through the lens of photographer Leslie Zhang, the Riding the Spring Breeze campaign features model Cici Xiang in a chromatic, joy-filled world where horses become the protagonists of a sweet journey back in time. Inspired by an imaginary playground and the familiar rocking horse, the narrative sparks childhood memories, a collective nostalgia and the poetry of movement. Complete with a soundtrack by François Villevieille (Musique 1983 Production), the campaign is a breath of fresh air as spring approaches – in perfect keeping with the Longchamp spirit.

Le Roseau, A New Interpretation

At the heart of this celebration, the iconic Le Roseau bag is reinvented in two smooth calfskin formats. To its golden bamboo clasp, a signature of the line, a new knot detail is added, revealing a subtly refreshed silhouette for the occasion. The capsule collection also includes small leather goods and accessories, like a silk ribbon with a horse-rider print and a soft horse keyring, dreamt up as contemporary talismans to take everywhere you go.

New Year in Longchamp Boutiques

To extend the experience, Longchamp gets into the spirit of Lunar New Year in its boutiques with a series of events designed to make new memories: photo booths, games and carousels of horses invite everyone – young and old – to remember and embrace the joy of playing. These will be set up in a selection of stores in Mainland China, Taiwan, Singapore and Malaysia, for sharing as much as possible in the celebrations and creativity of this Year of the Horse.
