Longchamp Family:

Behind the scenes with the Longchamp surfboard

The statement piece of a vibrant, sun-filled summer

Surfing as a state of mind

This summer, Longchamp hits the water. With the Catch The Parisian Wave collection, Parisians are swapping city streets for sea waves. More than just a sport, surfing becomes a way of life, a free sun-soaked impulse that thrives all season long. Naturally, the right surfboard is a must. An iconic object and visual staple, ours carries the collection all the way to the water. The Longchamp horse adorning the board embodies this dynamic energy, riding the waves with bold, carefree style.

Two family-run companies rooted in craftsmanship

To create this board, Longchamp teamed up with the Shapers Club in Marennes, near La Rochelle. Two family-run French companies united by the same respect for craftsmanship and the passion it entails. In the workshop, each board is crafted by hand, from precision shaping to careful sanding, through to resin coating. Made in France at the workshop of the Shapers Club, itself a Living Heritage Company like Longchamp, the board represents a shared vision: one of living craftsmanship, passed down and perfected, where performance meets style.

A collector's item melding performance and style

Produced in a very limited edition of just 40 individually numbered pieces, the Longchamp surfboard is designed as a standalone object—one to ride and collect. The pieces, numbered from 001 to 040, feature in specially selected stores worldwide, alongside the Maison's summer installations. Designed to be admired as well as surfed, it embodies bold, free-spirited summer living. Not just a board, but a calling: quit the city, follow the urge and ride the waves.
