From Paris to London: Longchamp stops off in the Cotswolds for Winter 2025

Stirred by a call from elsewhere, the Parisienne sets off to London in search of inspiration. She crosses the Channel and heads for the Cotswolds, a bucolic region in the west of England.

Amongst its green vales, gold stone cottages and gentle light, she takes some time to recharge, far away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Sophie Delafontaine drew on this peaceful yet vibrant setting for the Winter 2025 collection. “Longchamp is defined by curiosity and wanderlust. This winter, we wanted both calm and energy. The English countryside inspired us with its soft colours and the unspoilt beauty of its landscapes”. This escape gives rise to a collection combining sincerity, elegance and comfort; a reflection of an independent woman whose style is shaped by the places she dreams of exploring.

As a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the Cotswolds are a haven of authenticity. The Parisienne is restored, lulled by the rhythm of rural life and the ease of afternoon tea. The collection’s designs take shape against this picturesque backdrop, melding understated style with fresh inspiration.

Marmalade-coloured paths, gentle greens, the blush of a tea rose… the Parisienne taps into the natural palette of the Cotswolds to curate her winter wardrobe.

The countryside’s diffuse light washes over each piece to illuminate soft shades, comforting textures and snug silhouettes. She slings her large Le Foulonné over her shoulder as she heads back to the cottage for a cup of something warm. She curls up by the crackling fire in her cosy knits: a mohair jumper, a long dress or a cable-knit cardigan. Her lambskin suede coat and padded, light nylon jacket keep her warm and dry in the fickle British weather – without sacrificing an ounce of style.

In her suitcase, she’s packed her shearling Le Pliage Xtra. A nod to the rolling pastureland as far as the eye can see, its textured sheepskin lends softness and sophistication. A sense of bohemia can also be found in blouses with revisited tartan prints, perfect for wandering through charming villages. The sheep keyring adds a playful twist, hanging from bags like a winter charm. From the pastoral square scarf to the faux bouclé ballet flats, each detail tells a travel story of timeless elegance and contentment rediscovered.

An ode to nature and the Longchamp art of living.
