TERMS OF USE
On 1er February 1948, Jean CASSEGRAIN laid the foundation stone for a great adventure in French leather goods. Building on this heritage, LONGCHAMP extended its distribution networks and in 2006 reinforced its status as a Fashion House by offering a ready-to-wear line, followed by shoes and eyewear (the "Products").
LONGCHAMP currently markets its Products in particular on its Internet site www.longchamp.com (the "Site") or via its official and/or approved retailers throughout the world, a list of which is available on the Site. Any purchase outside this sales network is made at the purchaser's own risk, particularly as regards the authenticity of the said Products.)
These General Terms and Conditions of Use ("GTCU") of the Site are intended to govern its use: by using the Site, you acknowledge that you have read these GTCU and that you accept them unreservedly.
The conditions of purchase on the Site are set out in our General Terms and Conditions of Sale, which can be accessed on the Site by clicking.
LONGCHAMP reserves the right to modify these TOU at any time. The new GCU will be applicable from the date of their publication: we advise you to consult them regularly.
You can access the Site free of charge to view the Products and, where applicable, place an order.
For the purchase of Products, you may choose to act either as a guest without having to create a customer account, or as a customer after creating a customer account. In all cases, you are fully responsible for the accuracy and updating of the data communicated for any order or for opening your customer account.
If you open a client account, you will be solely responsible for the use of your identifiers or actions carried out via your client account: any access and action carried out from your client account will be presumed to have been carried out by you since LONGCHAMP is not obliged and does not have the technical means enabling it to ensure the identity of persons accessing the Site from a client account.
Any computerised processing of your personal data by LONGCHAMP as part of its activities is detailed in the Personal Data Policy by clicking.
In addition, LONGCHAMP may under no circumstances be held liable for any direct or indirect damage whatsoever resulting from the use of the Site, and in particular in the event of:
-
- failure, breakdown, difficulty or interruption of the site or appearance of bugs
- inaccurate or incomplete information;
- damage resulting from fraudulent intrusion by a third party leading to modification of the information available on the Site.
- damage caused to you, to third parties and/or to your equipment as a result of your connection to or use of the Site.
These GCU are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute and in the absence of an amicable settlement, the French courts shall have sole jurisdiction.
