LONGCHAMP 2026 GREETINGS CARD:

A TRIBUTE TO ARTIST GENEVIÈVE CLAISSE

Geometry of Colour: flourishing energy for 2026

Longchamp and art:

a story of creative engagement

Since its inception, Longchamp has maintained close ties to the world of art. The Maison has always promoted fruitful engagement between the fashion, design and art sectors, strong in the belief that creativity emerges from the convergence of disciplines and perspectives. This commitment is reflected in regular collaborations, in-store exhibitions and an unwavering desire to support the art scene, particularly female artists. Longchamp celebrates creative expression, bold graphic design and personalities whose vision illuminates the present while inspiring the future.

Geneviève Claisse and Longchamp:

creation that resonates

A pioneer of French geometric abstraction, Geneviève Claisse (1935–2018) established herself in the 1960s as a leading figure in the kinetic art movement. Her works explore the purity of forms, the power of colours and vibrating movement. Through their poetic radicalism, they transform geometry into a realm of freedom and emotion. Claisse's oeuvre naturally resonates with Longchamp: several of her works have been shown in the Maison's boutiques, notably the Tokyo Ginza store, where the iconic piece H is currently on display. Her graphic power, optimistic use of colour and creative freedom resonate with the spirit of Longchamp: a shared vision centred on movement, energy and minimalist elegance.

2026 Greetings Card:

flourishing energy

To celebrate the new year, Longchamp unveils its 2026 Greetings Card, designed based on Geneviève Claisse's piece H (1969). Here, geometry vibrates: orange pulsates, red radiates and yellow illuminates. Circles and lines are drawn to each other, revealing the dynamic within. This card symbolises the Maison's wishes for the new year, inviting recipients to live 2026 in a spirit of dynamic energy, creative daring and graphic elegance. Made for friends and customers of Longchamp, it represents a sensitive, artistic way of celebrating the new year.
