From the meeting of two iconic names in style and savoir-faire comes a daring and inspired cross-Channel collaboration. Longchamp joins forces with Gloverall, the legendary British creator of the first civilian duffle coat, for an unprecedented capsule collection.
An immersive pop-up is being held from the 1st of September to the 26th of October on the 1st Floor of Liberty London, a temple of British fashion and design, to celebrate the union of Parisian elegance and London spirit.
Here, the Longchamp x Gloverall pop-up unfolds like a live workshop. Visitors are invited to explore behind the scenes of this unique collaboration, with sculptural installations of Le Roseau’s bamboo, leather working tools and artisanal details on show.
The Roseau bag, the bamboo-clasp ballerina, the shawl and bamboo scarf ring, the bamboo-buckle belt and, of course, the duffle coat are all on display as exceptional pieces at the junction of fashion and history. In this immersive space, each object is a story told in parallel of British heritage and French craftsmanship.
Its set design is curated like a contemporary cabinet of curiosities, celebrating skilled hands, quality materials and enduring elegance.
Founded in 1875, Liberty is much more than a shop; it is a listed monument, an ode to craftsmanship and innovation. Its Tudor building – constructed from the wood of two warships – spans six floors of creativity, refinement and ingenuity.
