Longchamp - a family business
Founded in 1948 by Jean Cassegrain, Longchamp initially manufactured smoking pipes. The French designer soon expanded its line to include all kinds of exquisite bags and accessories.
Since 1980, the founder’s son, Philippe Cassegrain, had been directing the company. Now aged 70, the innovative designer still works for Longchamp, but has meanwhile passed on the family business to his eldest son.

A luxury brand sets the tone
