Summer is almost over, so it is time to put away our flashy accessories and curl up in a satin environment more appropriate for winter's softness.
As you see, the Wild Aristo style lays claim to the romantic.
Inspired by the Victorian era, this new Longchamp collection takes us to a refined world combining beautiful fabrics and warm colors.
A trend that will not go unnoticed.

This season’s Longchamp can be summed up in the key phrase “Wild Aristo”.
Conjuring up Victoriana, this sophisticated baroquesque design is a decided departure from the vivid pop feel seen last season, and heads for romance and elegance.
Have you heard of Evanescence, the rock band? They came to mind immediately when taking in this season’s Wild Aristo. Their first album, Fallen, sold 15 million worldwide, and these superstars have also garnered two different categories of Grammy.
The whole world, and Japan in particular, was introduced to a new sense of aestheticism and grandeur in rock music thanks to the band’s big break, and duly returned its appreciation.
Evanescence's sound won a place in music worldwide, as witnessed by the continuing success of bands that arose in their wake, like the Netherland’s Within Temptation, and Finland’s Nightwish.
Every Evanescence song represents a challenge, combining the ephemeral with the elegant and dramatic: a music that syncs with Longchamp’s Wild Aristo theme.
Longchamp creates yet another world in this collection, one that grows and grows, taking the basics of the label as it has developed so far, its elegant design, and breathing new life into them in a way that wakes you up … and then drifts you away.

In Cannes, when the “Girls in the City” want a gals-only night out, they head off to the Carré d’Or, the trendy hot spot for nightlife. And that’s where you’ll find a typical eatery with its Wild Aristo atmosphere, Le 7° Art.
As soon as you step through the door, make yourself comfy in the swank, theatrical red and gold decor. Vintage chandeliers, crystal candelabras, feather boas, purple velvet seats, sparkling silverware and crystal jugs for dinner service, family portraits hanging on the walls... Indulge in an evening of Victorian and baroque glamour from days gone by.
It’s an intimate setting, too! In plush surroundings, enjoy fine dining for two or, like us, book the big, round table for a convivial meal with friends!
The menu offers traditional dishes including irresistible desserts that will remind you of your childhood and your favorite fairy tales!

For me, Marie-Antoinette is the epitome of the Wild Aristo theme. A touch of romanticism, a dash of madness, a pinch of rococo… and there you have it, my inspiration for the “I loooove Marie-Antoinette” customization.
Above all, it’s the materials and pastel colors that give this deliberately XXXL amulet its delicate, romantic charm: lace, organza and satin combine to soften the exuberant gold color of the Cosmos bag. Then, the little trinkets you can open or explore draw you into a hidden, secret world… You can almost imagine you’re in Marie-Antoinette’s boudoir with a valet holding out a temptingly delicious pink macaroon! In a word, nothing’s too beautiful, too grand to play at being Marie-Antoinette.
Materials :
You’ll also need some glue, cotton wool, a tiny piece of white material, pins, a needle, white thread and a pair of scissors.
This customization idea is super easy and only comprises two steps.
Step 1: Make a false pompom center
Since we want to make an XXXL pompom with ribbons that are actually quite narrow, we’ll have to create an illusion of volume at the heart of the pompom. To do this, take a little cotton wool and roll it into a big ball with the ring of the snap hook in the middle. To tie it all together, cut out a small piece of white material (about 4x4cm) that you’ll use to cover the ball of cotton wool and make it compact. Sew the whole thing together with a few stitches underneath (that way, if it doesn’t look good, nobody will see – thought I’d mention it, just in case!).
Step 2: The serious pompom fun starts.
Begin by pinning a few wide satin ribbons into place, parallel to the snap hook ring so as to cover the white ball, then put several small dabs of glue (underneath so it doesn’t show). Then pass the ribbons through the snap hook ring, as the fancy strikes you, one after the other, in no particular order so you mix the sizes, colors and widths. When the pompom is the right size, fix the various trinkets, pendants and macaroons with bits of organza ribbon. Next, using a wide satin ribbon, wrap the ball twice at its base ending with a knot. Lastly, cut the bits of ribbon with the scissors to make a pompom any length you like.
A little tip: fix the snap hook on the bag before starting and make the pompom on the bag itself. That way, it’ll be easier to visualize the effect of the pompom as you go along. If the ring is too narrow, add a bigger ring beforehand.
